Just a quick update… I’ve changed my website and channel names to something that fits me better now. 🙌

I’m moving away from Hardware Blast and switching everything to TechDanne.com. The YouTube channel is now called TechDanne Hardware.

Today I spent some time behind the scenes moving the old website to the new one. Of course, there were some technical challenges with .htaccess files… 😅

Don’t worry, HardwareBlast.com still works for now and will take you straight to TechDanne.com 🚀

Sometimes I move quickly. I hereby change the YouTube/Facebook channel from HardQare to Hardware Blast. I am also closing the domain hardqare.com until 2025-05-20 and will soon start hardwareblast.com (I bought the domain and the site). The reason for this change is to be able to make things clearer, SEO friendly and not get lost in misspellings. Well as you can see it’s already up and running!

Now it's time for a competition! It will start the evening of 18th of July 2024 and going on for a week. The computer can be yours if you having hawk eyes and luck.

Follow TechDanne in his kitchen as he struggles to unbox things with an almost impossible combination of fan noise, poor lighting, demanding family life etc. This is a couple of weeks of really learning things until Santa comes. It was a rough start with Nedis SmartLife Floor Lamp RGB WiFi… Thing that had to go back to Inet.se.

Do you remember the first decade of Internet? Some of you were to young or not even born. Internet boomed in the middle of 90’s. I used Internet for the first time 1995. I was going in school and we had 486 and Pentiums connected to the Internet. It was really slow and that’s why chats like IRC was to prefer. It was a time of pranks and anarchy but after downloaded low-res photos of Pamela Andersson 1000 times we were really serious. The IRC platform were great for chatting with other nerds as well as arrange spontaneous parties. Soon Mirabilis ICQ become popular, but IRC never died. You can still use and enjoy IRC.
